My education began in Law, with specialisations in Tax Law and Contracts. That foundation taught me to go deep into questions, test fundamentals, challenge assumptions, assess risks and opportunities, and build recommendations in highly complex situations.
The MBA was an important lever in widening that view. Business education expanded my perspective into strategy, finance, operations, marketing, sales, human resources and other dimensions that shape a business decision, complementing the depth of legal training with a broader view of the business.
I came to work ever closer to the core decisions of the companies. I have led strategic matters with significant impact on results and cash generation, taken part in complex M&A transactions in Brazil and abroad, and been directly involved in decisions on growth, transformation, governance, new business models and international expansion.
With C-level and Board positions, my own position before decisions changed as well. I was no longer only building recommendations. I began to receive different perspectives, take decisions, lead transformations and live through what happens after a choice is made.
That combination of technical depth, business perspective and the experience of someone who has decided shaped the way I think and advise today. And it is where Barbelli Dantas began.

My relationship with business extends to entrepreneurship and governance.
I am an investor at WOW Aceleradora de Startups and a board member at WILL (Women in Leadership in Latin America).
Working alongside entrepreneurs, new business models and companies at different stages of development continually widens my view of growth, innovation and the challenges of turning ideas into businesses able to evolve.

Art and design are also part of my repertoire and of what I love.
Art widens perspectives. It invites you to look at the same reality in different ways, question the first interpretation and notice relationships that are not always evident.
Design adds another dimension: turning an intention into something that, beyond making sense, works in practice.
They are other ways of exercising curiosity, widening the view and finding new possibilities within the same situation.
